During my days (2007 to 2010) as the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, I had an email from David Alexander, CEO of Sheer Publishing in South Africa about his desire to publish the works of Ghanaian artistes. I was happy to organize our musicians to meet him and the rest is history. This June, I met David at the MIDEM Festival in France and our discussion was on how the Ghana music industry is faring. He was impressed that I was into Publishing. We chatted about how GHMusic Publishing & Management could be of service to Sheer Publishing. So on November 29th 2019 at the 3rd Music In Africa Conference For Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES) that took place in Accra, Sheer Publishing, represented by Mr. Seidu, confirmed Sheer Publishing’s collaborations with GHMusic Publishing and Management and did a presentation to the Staff. Amazingly, it became evident that Joe Mettle and Diana Hopeson amongst other artistes have unclaimed revenue that Sheer Publishing could Access for them immediately. GHMusic Publishing & Management… Blossoming!
